On 9 December 2013, in the Ministry of Environment and Tourism in Sarajevo, a meeting for the representatives of the tourism sector, Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Serbia and Federal Ministry of Environment and Tourism of Bosnia and Herzegovina was organized within the CROSS SPA project.

National Agency for Regional Development in cooperation with Belgrade Fair are going to organize the 12th International Entrepreneurship Fair for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises 2012.  Business Base Fair will be held on November 27-29, 2013 in Belgrade.
Enterprise Europe Network in Serbia with the assistance of Serbian and international partners will organize International Business Meeting on the first day of 12th Business Base Fair, 27 November.

RDA Zlatibor in partnership with the Tourist Organization of the Region of Western Serbia and with the support of professor Jovan Popesku, will coordinate creation of the Programme for Tourism Development in Prijepolje Municipality. Presentation of plan for creation of Programme was held in Culture Centre of Prijepolje Municipality at the end of October and attended by the representatives of public, private and civil sector, members of tourist organizations in neighboring municipalities and the media.

On Thursday, 31 October 2013 on Zlatibor was held presentation of the programme Youth Work Practitioners in Private Sector which is implemented by the Sustainable Local Development Programme with the support of the USAID.

Presentation of the Project was attended by representatives of private sector businesses and public institutions of 5 local municipalities that are involved in project.

The EU Integrated Innovation Support Programme (IISP), which is implemented in partnership with the Ministry of Economy, the National Agency for Regional Development and Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia had created 5 guides for improving business innovation based on information which were presented by project team to companies who participated in IISP training for innovation improvement.

On Tuesday, 22 October 2013, final presentation of the Strategic and Operational Tourism Marketing Plan of destination Zlatibor-Zlatar was held. It was attended by key representatives of private and public sector in the field of tourism in the Western Serbia region. This event was final phase of the Project which was implemented by RDA Zlatibor and financially supported by the EU and the Government of Switzerland through The European Partnership with Municipalities Programme – EU PROGRES.

Within the project “Development and Promotion of Health and Spa tourism in Cross Border area of Bosnia and Herzegovina –Serbia” (Cross Spa), which is implemented by Foundation of Local Democracy Sarajevo and Tourism Organization of the Region of Western Serbia in partnership with Sarajevo Economic Region Development Agency “SERDA” and “Zlatibor” Regional Development Agency from Užice, 2-day workshop on health tourism issues in cross-border area was held in Special hospital „Čigota“ on Zlatibor, on 25th and 26th September 2013.

With the financial support of the Sustainable Local Development Programme which is financed by the USAID, RDA Zlatibor started the implementation of  project  IMC Territory Regional Value Chain on 1st September.
Project aims to improve and develop the supply chain of local products, that small producers can become a part of HoReCa sector supply chain (hotels, restaurants and tourists) in territory of 5 municipalities: Uzice, Cajetina, Nova Varos, Priboj and Prijepolje, area of Zlatibor, Zlatar and Tara mountains.
