The aim of the project: Promotion of sustainable use of bioenergy fuels in energy purposes in the Zlatibor Region.

Project results
:

- Capacities of the Regional Bioenergy Focal Point within the Zlatibor RDA are increased and its position in the region is more visible and stronger.

- Capacities/capabilities of decision makers from the public utilities and private sector in the region regarding the bioenergy are increased and their impact on the local energy policies is more significant.

- Capacities of the Regional Biomass Working Group within the Environmental Protection Board of the Zlatibor Region are strengthened.

- The awareness of the local community about sustainable use of biomass increased.

- The awareness of the private forest owners in the Zlatibor region about their potential role in a supply chain infrastructure is increased.
